Shopping List 4

Meat (get grass-fed, free-range, etc., whenever possible)
  • 2 lb beef top round roast (or another roast of the same size)
  • 3 grass-fed steaks of your choice (adjust number as needed)
  • turkey Italian sausage (or your favorite type)
  • 1 lb nitrate-free bacon
Seafood  
  • 2 cod filets (or catfish, tilapia, etc.)
  • 9 large sea scallops (for 3 servings)
  • 4 8 oz tuna steaks, approx 1" thick 
Dairy
  • 1 dozen eggs
  • grass-fed butter (alternate for ghee)

Produce (get organic whenever possible)
  • 1 acorn squash
  • 1 butternut squash (or acorn or other winter squash)
  • 1 bunch green onions
  • 1 onion
  • 1 head broccoli
  • 2 large turnips
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • fresh grated ginger 
Pantry Staples
  • almond butter
  • coconut oil
  • olive oil
  •  sesame oil
  • balsamic vinegar
  • coconut aminos
  • ghee
  • rice vinegar
  • raw honey (optional)
  • wheat-free tamari
  • unsweetened cocnut flakes
  • tahini
Spices
  • bay leaf
  • dried oregano
  • dried thyme
  • fresh-ground pepper
  • white pepper
  • chili powder
  • crushed red pepper flakes
  • ground cayenne
  • ground coriander (you can ground whole coriander in food processor)
  • garlic powder
  • herbes de provence
  • sea salt
  • smoked paprika
  • whole peppercorns
